Insomnia
Insomnia is a sleep disorder characterized by difficulty falling or staying asleep, leading to non-refreshing sleep and daytime fatigue. It can be acute (short-term) or chronic (long-term). Causes include stress, medical conditions, poor sleep habits, or poor vagal nerve health.
Stress
Stress is a body’s response to challenging or adverse situations. It can arise from both positive (e.g., planning a wedding) and negative (e.g., financial worries) events. While short-term stress can be beneficial for enduring certain situations, prolonged stress can damage the autonomic nervous system and lead to physical, emotional, and mental health problems, necessitating management strategies.
Anxiety
Anxiety is a feeling of unease, such as worry or fear, ranging from mild to severe. It can be a normal response to stress, but when excessive or persistent, it may indicate an anxiety disorder. Symptoms include restlessness, rapid heartbeat, and excessive worrying. Causes vary and can include genetics, brain chemistry, and life events.
Pain
Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience linked to actual or potential tissue damage. It acts as the body’s alert system, indicating harm or the threat of harm. Pain can be acute, fading once the injury heals, or chronic, persisting for months or years. It can be physical, emotional, or a combination of both.

Mindfulness sessions will consist of a 60 or 90 minute, private coaching class 1-on-1 or in pairs (friends, family, couples, parent/child) with your instructor online or in person.
These will be based on your needs discussed during the complimentary consultation and be laid out in an introductory, exploratory, and then structured model as you become comfortable and progress.
We will address, breath work, stretching, body scanning, vagal nerve toning, tapping, and other self-soothing techniques throughout the sessions as well as tips from some of the world’s renowned authorities on mindfulness.
